Dancing with Grief, Dancing with Love

Dance Without Limits Posted on May 19, 2019 by Dana Ben-YehudaMay 19, 2019

I am having trouble getting myself to dance with my whole Self these days. A friend chided me and also poked a little fun at me, saying he can’t believe an Alexander teacher would have her head down, “is that … Continue reading →

Dancing the Alexander Technique

Dance Without Limits Posted on January 11, 2019 by Dana Ben-YehudaJanuary 11, 2019 2

I watched the teacher demonstrate as he spoke, saying “you have to get your head weight on your foot.” He moved forward onto his left foot, perfectly poised. You could drop an imaginary plumb line through him, head through his … Continue reading →

Delightful Idea

Dance Without Limits Posted on January 10, 2019 by Dana Ben-YehudaJanuary 10, 2019 2

Today as a student was rising from the table, as is my way, I cautioned him to move slowly so he wouldn’t get light headed. He laughed, popped onto his feet and said, “I thought you said a light head … Continue reading →

Dancing in the Light

Dance Without Limits Posted on July 27, 2018 by Dana Ben-YehudaJuly 28, 2018

This morning, I meditated on Light. I used a guided audio from my friend, Anita Caselina

and in this meditation I FEEL and SEE myself filled with light.

I am a vessel of Light

I am a channel for the Light.

When I dance, I also connect to the Light.

This is what I feel in my heart when I dance.

I feel the light shining through me

That is my purpose and on Earth in this lifetime.

To be a shining star

And to let others know they are shining stars, too.

A star is a vessel and channel of Light

Connecting with others through the Light that connects us all.

I hope you also do whatever makes you feel connected to the Light.

Whether that’s dancing or painting or music – or math!
