Sundays at Starlite
Body Dynamics for Dancers*
Body awareness, balance and alignment in movement for dancers.
One dancer, Sheri Courtney, came to work on her ‘attitude spins’ in W. Coast Swing. She learned to be balanced with less tension, stabilize her body in the spin and had a lot of fun!
Come check it out! Your balance and posture will improve. This is a movement-based class geared for dancers, AND all are welcome. No partner necessary.

Body Dynamics* for the rest of us!
Movement-based class for better posture and freedom from pain in activities of daily life. If you like the idea of a small size group class, this class is perfect for you. One participant wrote:

Five, stand-alone workshops held at the Palo Alto JCC. Take one, take all, and bring a friend for more fun!
Saturday, 2/11 10-11 AM – Present Yourself; Confidence, Posture and Poise for Success
Build confidence and poise through improved posture.

Saturday, 3/4 10-11 AM – Posture and Fitness
Special Class in the Fitness Center
Form is directly related to results in the gym. It also helps your posture, outside the gym. Come improve your form as you workout, so you strengthen in a way that supports good posture.
We will use the gym and equipment. Come prepared!
Limited to only 10 participants so pre-register asap!
Thursday, 4/6 7:30-8:30 PM – Body Dynamics
Movement-based class for better posture and freedom in the body. All levels of fitness.
Learn the basics of good posture through movement exercises based on the Alexander Technique. Learn to carry your head high without tension and move more freely.
Thursday, 5/11 7:30-8:30 PM – Better in Stilettos
Be beautiful, elegant, and sexy in heels!
Get ready for that prom or wedding. Take away tips and tricks you can use immediately.
Bring heels – and bring a friend, this is a fun class to share.
Thursday, 6/8 7:30-8:30 PM – Walking Tall
Good posture in walking should be easy – and it can be! Feel lighter, walk taller, look better.
Confidence shows in your posture – people read it before you speak. Walk into a room and command the space – use this class to hone your presentation skills.
Pre-Registration advised as class size is limited.
