Seven Tips for Lightness and Ease – Day Five!
Hello my friends,
Do you sit for long periods of time?
If you do, there’s often a tendency to curl down the front of your body and lose good posture.
Here’s a mini-exercise to counteract that:
Pause for a moment wherever you’re sitting.
Reach your hands up.
Let your fingers extend upward and look up at your fingers.
Keep looking at them and let a breath out through an open mouth.
Continue looking up and gently let your hands and arms release down to your sides.
Lightly, let your eyes look forward. You will notice your head moves, as your eyes look to a different place.
Thinking lightly up to your head, let a breath out again.
You may notice that you’re upright and poised on the chair.
You may even feel taller!
If you’re enjoying these tips, I hope you’ll join my blog! You’ll receive a guided audio for an Alexander process to release tension from your neck and shoulders, blog posts as they come along, plus more free tips. The audio is only 8 minutes. I hope you like it.
